Jayson Lilley s love of urban architecture shines through his work, and reminds us of the beauty to be found in the urban environment when we choose to notice it.

Battersea is from Lilley’s London One Pound Note Series, in which he depicts iconic views of the city on vintage one pound notes. Here, he portrays the imposing chimneys of the infamous power station.

This hand-pulled screenprint with platinum ink is printed on a one pound note from the 1980s. From a limited edition of 50, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
