Through her impactful work, British contemporary artist, Charlotte Rose explores the clever artistry of classic branding that’s responsible for building our culture.

This original painting is an introduction to a new collection of works from Rose that will be released in October. The series brings together Rose’s love of branding with her interest in literature, which she studied at university.

Black Macbeth immortalises ‘the Scottish play’ by Shakespeare. Rose explains: “I want the piece to evoke a sense of nostalgia for old London. I associate Shakespeare with that. His plays and words are in the bones of Londoners.”
