Famed for his Andre the Giant Has a Posse sticker campaign, and his Hope poster for Obama’s 2008 presidential candidacy, Obey aka Shepard Fairey has earned his place as one of the world s most acclaimed street artists.
In this piece, Fairey showcases his talent for graphic design, combining pattern and a soft gold palette to explore Buddhist iconography, including lotus leaves, the curve of a crescent moon and the rays of a rising sun.
