Mind In A Bottle Hot on Sale

Contemporary artist, Mark Powell creates intricate hand-drawn portraits on found antique documentation using just a standard Bic Biro. While there is rarely a connection between his subject and chosen canvas, Powell explains that: They are chosen to complement each other, and I hope lead the viewer to wonder, and maybe create, a shared history for the two.

For the piece, Powell has drawn his subject on the pages of a book of beer brand logos, some scrawled with hand-written notes. 

Mind In A Bottle is a solar photopolymer etching. From a limited edition of eight, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
