Ailsa Munro is a digital artist who creates vibrant fantasy ecosystems. Each of her works explores the relationship between urban and natural environments, and questions the ways humans interact with nature.

Desert Sand is from Munro s 2021 collection of hand-painted, digitally-constructed pieces created in response to the confinement and limitations of lockdown in the city. Inspired by the work of Henri Rousseau, Munro uses light and layered shapes to create her wistful scene.

This giclee print on FSC certified paper, is from a limited edition of 50, and comes signed and numbered by the artist.
