Sarah Arnett s flamboyant artworks are created in homage to her passion for the exotic, and her formative years spent living and travelling in tropical climes.
In Butterfly, Arnett depicts the Brown Hairstreak Butterfly – a species that can only live in the tiny ecosystem that exists at the top of Elm trees. The microscopic, concave view of the insect offers a glimpse at the exquisite patterns on its wings and the leaves that surround it.
This giclée print is hand-finished with burnished 24ct gold leaf. From a limited edition of 10, the piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
